About
ABOUT ME
Graduating from Harvard Law School in 2018 with a specialty in contract transactions, throughout my legal career I have had an extreme passion for artist rights, digital media, and the startup community. With more and more opportunities for artists and creatives to follow their dreams, it's increasingly important to make sure that those dreams are built upon strong legal foundations.
Since my time at Harvard where I led the renowned Recording Artists Project organization, advocating for music industry actors on a spectrum of business matters, and also worked in Sony Music's Business & Legal Affairs Department, I have built up a portfolio of experience that has prepared me to provide you with the premier legal services you need today. This includes time with the highly-respected O'Melveny & Myers LLP's Century City office practicing Entertainment Mergers & Acquisitions and Venture Capital law, publications in legal journals on important copyright issues, and real business-side experience such as working inside sync licensing departments, multi-channel networks, and talent agencies. As a certified member of the California Bar Association, let me help you bring your magic to the rest of the world.
My Biography & Background
Originally from San Francisco, California, I was raised in the international school system in Shanghai, China where I spent a better part of a decade observing its economic development and becoming fluent in Mandarin. Following that, I attended the University of Southern California where I studied International Relations and Global Business, before I went on to graduate from Harvard Law School. My international background gives me a uniquely keen insight into the intricacies involved in building globally relevant brands in this digitally interconnected age, and my understanding of legal systems encompasses not just California state law, but also federal and international levels of law which affect trade and intellectual property.
